Description
This is an animated simulation of the
Hodgkin-Huxley neuron equations.
Click your mouse on the applet above to toggle an excitatory channel open
and closed. You will then see a time series plot of neural
action potentials.
Press the spacebar to pause and resume the simulation.
Press the 'F' key to toggle display of the frame rate.

CroftSoft Code Library.
Installation
In addition to using the applet at the top of this webpage, you can install
the program as a desktop application by clicking on this link:

If it does not install, check that you have
Java installed first,
version 6 or above.
